DxSpot is your mobile access into the Amateur Radio DX cluster network for your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. With DxSpot you connect to the DX cluster of your choice. The internal database supplies the connection parameters to over 300 DX clusters. Connection parameters can be customized allowing access to new or private clusters. Cluster logon is automatic cluster logon and supports optional password entry.
Once connected DxSpot monitors DX spots in real time, creating formatted table displays. Other displays include colorized WWV propagation data, users currently connected to the cluster, and cluster announcements. The classic telnet console is also supported and has the ability to enter commands.
DxSpot contains a CoreDate/Sqlite logbook to record contacts while away from home. Tap a DX spot and a new log entry is created capturing the DX call sign, frequency, mode time on and off. If you are a QRZ subscriber, the operator name, QSL address, DX station Grid Square and Latitiude/Longitude are automatically entered into the logbook.
The logbook can be exported in ADIF or CSV format. In addition your current logbook can be imported keeping track of all your contacts.
DxSpot also provides automatic QRZ.com web and XML Logbook search (QRZ.COM XML subscription required) by DX, spotter or user call signs.

Detailed information about ARRL DXCC entities include, entiry name, distance/ bearing, prefix, flag, continent, CQ/ITU zones, latitude/longitude and UTC time offset. DXCC entity displays the bands/modes worked, QSL confirmed and DXCC granted. DXCC entities are displayed on the world map.
